I am not an engineer or a scientist but worked for several warehouses where there are requirements to pick the items for shipment. There are huge areas with isles, sometimes spread all over. The employee holding a scanning device and pushing the cart all day that feels like an indoor farming field.
Perhaps, it is time to consider improvement in processes to enhance convenience for employees, accuracy and speed and reliability.
If this design can be implemented at such warehouse environment, then it can provide ease of handling the overall process that we are entering with online shopping experience.
